  • Feeling misunderstood or overwhelmed by the demands of life, relationships, or work can be exhausting. Navigating a world that often feels like it wasn’t designed for you, while masking your true self to fit in, can leave you struggling with communication, burnout, or simply finding ways to express your needs to those who matter most. The stress of constantly adapting can make you feel isolated, misunderstood, and at times, invisible.

    For many late-identified neurodivergent individuals, understanding what it truly means to be Autistic, ADHD, or PDA (Persistent Drive for Autonomy) can be a deeply overwhelming journey. Unmasking your authentic self while communicating your needs to loved ones can feel daunting — even terrifying. There’s a reason we masked in the first place — masking is often a survival mechanism. Carrying the weight of feeling “othered” and striving to meet societal expectations while trying to fit into a world that doesn’t always understand can be exhausting.

    Perhaps you’ve been labeled as unreasonable, manipulative, controlling, distant, too much, or not enough. These labels are not your truth, but they can feel like a heavy burden to carry.

  • What I want you to know is that YOU ARE ENOUGH. Just as you are. The work we will do together is about uncovering your needs, learning to communicate them effectively, and embracing the truth that your way of being is not broken — it’s simply different.

    • 20+ years of experience in mindfulness practice

    • Master’s Degree in Transpersonal Psychology from Vermont College- Norwich University Northfield, VT

    • Owner/Operator of a Design/Build business with my spouse for 17 years

    • BS in Social Work from Plymouth State College

    Lived Experience:

    • Late-diagnosed (at 47) Autistic ADHDer

    • Internalized PDAer, also dyspraxic, dyslexic,

    • Gender-non-conforming/neuroqueer AFAB (assigned female at birth)

    • Multiple Autistic Burnouts throughout my life. The first one I had to move home with my parents for 3 years, and the second changed everything because I found Autism.

    • My family consists of my spouse of 20+years, two cats and two dogs.

    • I am an active member of All Brains Belong, a neurodivergent medical practice and community.
