Social Media Manager and Blog Writer

Martha Wood is our social media manager. She lives in Austin, Texas with her daughter, her cat and dog. She, like many neurodivergent people, has been a job hopper. She worked lots of customer service jobs early in life. Then she got her communications/journalism degree and worked as a journalist. When she became a mom, she freelanced as a social media consultant and now she works a boring desk job during the day.  She rolled the dice and joined the inaugural ND Friendly Life affinity group in 2025, enjoying it enough to offer to help us overcome our fears of the world of social media so that we could be found by ND's far and wide.

Her passions in life are healthy communication, writing, social justice, working with female-owned businesses, and most importantly, being a good mom.
